Hello!

My name is Re Wahlay Daw and I go by Ms. Re. I love being part of the Husky Community. The 2023-2024 school year will be my 2nd year in education and I am a Kindergarten and 1st grade ESL teacher. I have Bachelor's Degrees in English as Secondary Language from the University of Northwestern - Saint Paul. 

An interesting fact about me is I was born in a Thailand Refugee camp. I moved to the USA when I was 8 years old and my first school I attended was at Hamline Elementary. I am still fascinated that my first school was at Hamline Elementary and my first professional job was at Hamline Elementary. 

When I am not at school, I love to go to the gym and go play volleyball with my friends. And I just recently found my new favorite hobby, which is boxing. I have always been interested in watching boxing matches on ESPN and I finally get to learn how to box. I am big on physical fitness and my goal is to run 3 miles every day. 

Being a member of the Husky community makes me very happy. I am excited about an amazing year ahead of me!
