Hello! 

My name is Samantha Schlomka and I teach 4th grade. I am new to Eastern Heights, and I am SO excited to be here. I spent my first year teaching as a long-term substitute in both 4th and 5th grade. I grew up in Maplewood, Minnesota. I attended college in Moorhead, Minnesota at Minnesota State University Moorhead, where I earned my degree in K-6 education with a minor in special education.

I have such a passion for teaching and love watching students get those lightbulb moments. My goal is for my students to feel safe, loved and valued in my classroom. Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, baking, shopping, reading and teaching swim lessons!
