Mrs. Bukovich

Hi, I am Mrs. Bukovich and I am a Special Education Teacher for 7th and 8th grade.  I teach Reader's Concepts for 7th and 8th grades as well as Skills for High School Readines.  I also co teach ELA with Ms. Yvonne Turner and Mr. Ben Mulhern.  In previous years I taught AVID 7.  I am in my 7th year of teaching at Global Arts Plus.  Before I taught at Global Arts Plus, I taught at Humboldt Middle School in St. Paul, and Lake Marion Elementary School in Lakeville, MN.  I love seeing the bright smiles and positive attitudes from my students everyday.  I love teaching at GAP.

I live in Rosemount with my husband, Tony, and my children Mark and Katelynn.  Mark is a Senior at Rosemount High School and Katelynn is in 8th grade at Rosemount Middle School.  We also have an adorable teddy bear puppy, Zoey who keeps us moving and running around.  In my free time I love to be outdoors, read, watch sports, and spend time with my family by Lake Okoboji in Okoboji, Iowa.  I grew up in West Bend, Iowa and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Teaching from the University of Northern Iowa.  I obtained my Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning from St. Mary's University in Winona, MN.

I am an avid fan of The Iowa Hawkeyes, Minnesota Wild and Minnesota Vikings.  I attend many Special Olympics events with my son, Mark.  He enjoys bowling, hockey and softball. My son, Mark, has a developmental cognitive delay, and attends a fabulous program at RHS. My daughter, Katelynn belongs to the dance studio, Just For Kix, which allows me to watch her shine on the dance floor and attend competitions and dance recitals. They certainly do enjoy keeping busy.
