Degrees and Certifications:
My name is Kim McConley and I am the technology integrationist at Cherokee Heights. I work with students and staff, and oversee the technology equipment here at school. This is my third year at Cherokee and my twenty-first year in Saint Paul Public Schools.
I have my B.S. in Elementary Education from UW-River Falls, M.S. from Winona State, my technology/keyboarding license from Hamline University, and my administrative license from The University of Minnesota- Twin Cities.
New for the 2018-19 school year will be our makerspace lab. Students will have the opportunity to come in and work with a variety of items and materials, and will be recording their work in Seesaw or Schoology through their iPads. Cherokee also has 28 computers in the lab where students have experiences working on a variety of projects integrating technology into what students are learning in class.
Each student has an iPad to use in class. Part of my job is to help support staff and students in using technology in the classroom, along with assisting with online testing.
