Hello! Welcome to my webpage. I am Miao Laoshi. This is my seventeenth year of teaching Chinese at Highland Park Senior High School. I was born and raised in Taiwan and came to the U.S. in the late 1980s. I began teaching Chinese at a Saturday school in 1990 and obtained a Master of Education degree in Second Language and Cultural Education from the University of Minnesota in 1992.

This year I teach Chinese for all levels, and Chinese Immersion12. I also offer four College in the Schools courses from the University of Minnesota to higher-level Chinese students, CHN1011,  CHN1015, CHN 3016, and CHN3022. I look forward to another great school year!
