Degrees and Certifications:
BA in French; UW-Madison M. Ed. U of M K-12 ESL K-12 French K-6 El. Ed.
My first year of teaching at LNFI was 2003-04. My undergraduate degree is in French from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My Master's Degree in Education (Initial Licensure Program in K-12 ESL, and K-12 French) is from the University of Minnesota, and my K-6 Elementary Education degree is from Hamline University. I taught ESL at Hamline Elementary for 4 years before coming to LNFI, and have been teaching 4th grade while at LNFI.
I try and bike to work as often as possible, and also do so in my free time. I also enjoy traveling and spending time with my family, and playing hockey as a way to get through the winter months.
My wife, 2 sons and I live in St. Paul. My wife is from the small African country of Gabon (which is where we met), and runs a French Immersion Child Care business in our home. It's called "La Garderie." Our sons both attend SPPS schools.
LNFI is a unique school where I feel very comfortable working with the students, families and my colleagues.
