    Current 5th grade families interested in a daytime tour of Highland Park Middle School will be able to do so on one of the dates below.  Tours run from 8:45-9:30am.   Registration is required for this event.  Click  HERE to register for a school tour.

    Families are also invited to our showcase night on Thursday, January 12th, from 6:00 - 7:30 pm.  During the showcase, families are provided a brief introduction to the Highland Middle School community.  Families will then have the opportunity to visit 6th grade classrooms, meet teachers and support staff, and learn about middle school opportunities.  No registration is required for the Showcase Night event.

    Teaming is generally considered the heart and soul of the middle school model. Highland Park Middle implements core subject teaming that consists of four teachers who share a group of students.

    From athletics to Lego Leagues, HPMS is proud of the many after school activities that are provided. These programs are meant to offer students an opportunity to engage in activities they have interests in.

    Principal Andrastek has served the last five years as the assistant principal at Highland Park Middle School, and has been an assistant principal within Saint Paul Public Schools since 2007. Prior to his leadership roles, Andrastek was a classroom teacher in Minneapolis Public Schools for 10 years.
