Small teams of students and staff make our school a place where middle school students experience a strong sense of belonging and connection. Our WEB (Where Everybody Belongs) program develops eighth grade students into leaders and mentors to our sixth graders, supporting them in a successful transition to middle school. This is Highland Park Middle School.

From athletics to Lego Leagues, HPMS is proud of the many after school activities that are provided. These programs are meant to offer students an opportunity to engage in activities they have interests in.

Highland Park Middle School offers a wide-range of enrichment opportunities for students ranging from afterschool help to interest-based clubs to field trips to academic competitions.

Principal Andrastek has served the last five years as the assistant principal at Highland Park Middle School, and has been an assistant principal within Saint Paul Public Schools since 2007. Prior to his leadership roles, Andrastek was a classroom teacher in Minneapolis Public Schools for 10 years.
