    We know this is an unusual and stressful time for our students, families, teachers and staff. We will continue to provide you with timely information about the district’s plans via email, on social media and at Stay healthy, and stay at home as much as possible.

    Community Brief: SPPS Distance Learning

    On Thursday, April 23, Governor Tim Walz and the Minnesota Department of Education announced that Distance Learning will continue through the end of the school year. This means that students will not return to school buildings for the rest of this academic year.

    Meal Service During the COVID-19 School Closure

    Bus routes will no longer be used to deliver meals. Instead, families in need of food for their children are asked to register for free home delivery. Meals are only for kids ages 18 and under, or those with a disability enrolled in a school program.

    At SPPS, our mission is to inspire students to think critically, pursue their dreams and change the world. Students may still enroll for the 2019-2020 school year by completing our online intake form. Enroll for Fall 2020 by completing an online application.
