$25 Unlimited Bus Pass during the Summer for High School Students

  • Beginning May 17, 2019, Metro Transit will begin offering current 9-12 grade students the option to purchase a $25 Summer Student Pass. Any student at this school can get unlimited rides on buses and trains up to a $3 fare* and you can ride anytime between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m. every day of the week. Passes are valid from June 1 through Sept. 5.

    Go to metrotransit.org/summer-pass to get more details about the pass and order one using a credit card. All you need is your school’s name and your student ID number. If you’d rather use cash, you can buy a Summer Student Pass at a Metro Transit Service Center. Call 612-373-3333 or visit metrotransit.org/service-centers for locations.

Health Start School Based Clinic

  • Creative Arts Secondary School is partnering with West Side Community Health Services to provide onsite mental health counseling services.  Students will be able to access the following services:

    • mental health assessment and care
    • depression and suicide prevention
    • family issues
    • violence prevention
    • personal and relationship problems
    • school concerns
    • alcohol and substance abuse
    • money and housing issues
    • pregnancy counseling
    • immigrant/refugee experiences
    • recovery from trauma

Summer School Information

  • The following S-Term session dates are for all grade levels (K-12) regardless of site location.

    • S-Term 1:  June 17-July 11, 2019 (No school on July 4)
    • S-Term 2:  July 15-August 8, 2019
    • CDF Freedom Schools (Grades K-8):  June 17-July 26, 2019 (No school on July 4)

     

    All current students in Grades 6 - 7 will have summer school at:

     All current students in Grades 8-12 will be assigned one of these sites based on home address location.  Registration for current high school students will be made through their school counselor.
