Future Educators of America (FEA)

  • Ever wonder what it takes to become a teacher? Join the FEA club at Harding Sr. High School and find out.  Our kick-off / annual recruitment meeting is the third Thursday in September in room 1422 at 2:15 -- join us and find out more about the FEA!

If you enjoy helping young people learn, if you have a passion for inspiring others, if you want to make new friends and have fun after school, please join Future Educators of America (FEA) club!  Several activities are an annual tradition, including a club pizza party, college fair visits, and a Q & A session with the student teachers from UofMN-D, Hamline and St. Olaf!  Of course, May is the most fun.  We wake up early and prepare a hot pancake and sausage breakfast with fruit, a variety of juices, and hot coffee for all the Harding teachers to celebrate Teacher Appreciation!

All Service hours earned by members of the Future Educators of America club count towards Senior Portfolio Requirements! Four students have been elected Executive officers for the 2018-19 school year. All we need is you! A Harding teacher may nominate you because you have potential to be great educator or you may nominate yourself.  Please Join us!

It costs nothing to join FEA.  St. Paul Federation of Teachers (Local 28) supports Future Educators of America (FEA) clubs as a district initiative to cultivate teachers from within. The club has a mission to inspire, support, and cultivate talented teachers--especially teachers of color--from within our district.

I am excited to be the advisor for Future Educators of America at Harding. I welcome you to attend our FEA Club Kick off and recruitment party or any Thursday after school meeting at 2:15!  Get excited about a career in education!
