Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Adair

Welcome to Mrs. Adair's room!

Hello! Welcome to Room 1218.

I am a Montessori Children's House teacher. I received my bachelor's from Bethel University in Human Communication/Leadership studies. I received a master's degree in Elementary Education from the University of St. Thomas. I went to Midwest Montessori Training Center in Evanston, IL.

We have half- day friends ( pre-k) students and all-day friends( kindergartners) each day. Half-day friends leave at 11:15 A.M.. and the all-day friends stay until 2:45 P.M..

Our class is a warm, inviting place where each child is discovering their abilities. We learn about peacemaking and taking care of our world. Children receive presentations on materials in our classroom at their ability level.

We have five key areas of the classroom. They are: practical life, sensorial, math, language, and culture.

Each Thursday your child will have a folder in their backpack. The folder will contain a newsletter ( every other week), homework, and any other pertinent school information. Your child has until the following Wednesday to turn homework in. Please check this folder each week.

Our library day is on Tuesdays. Your child has a week to return their book. If they have an overdue book, they are not able to check out a book.

If you would like to volunteer in our room, we would love to have you!

I am thankful for your partnership in your child's educational journey.

Please contact me with any questions or concerns.
