Degrees and Certifications:
Regina Brown started working at Como Park Elementary School in the Fall of 2004, after moving from Reno, NV. Ms. Brown, graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1997 with her masters degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology and her undergraduate degree in the same field in 1995. She spent 7 years working in Washoe County School District in Reno, NV, as a speech language pathologist as well as 3 years as a special education teacher.
Ms. Brown enjoys reading, arts and crafts, and walking in the various parks around the state of Minnesota. She enjoys watching sports from baseball, football, basketball, etc. She enjoys collecting games and toys for her students to enjoy and play with; anything to get students interested in talking.
Ms. Brown lives in the Maplewood / St Paul area. Family time is very important to her and will usually have 2-3 dinners a month that includes a fun competition of cards, games, or watching sports. Ms. Brown is originally from the Eau Claire Area in Wisconsin and is a huge cheese head, “Go Pack Go, Bukcy, and Brewers.
