A brief interview with Mrs. Lang...

Q: What brought you to Third Grade?

A: After spending many years in grades 1, 3, 4, and 5, I realized that I found the energy and creativity in Third Grade matches my style perfectly! 

Q: Do you have any children?

A: Yes! I have two daughters. Their names are Mariko (11) and Iva (9). We also have a dog named Louie (3). He is like my third child.

Q: Are you related to Mr. Lang at Highland Park Senior High?

A: Yes! Mr. Lang is my husband and he teaches physical education at the high school. Many students from Capitol Hill have him as their P.E. teacher!

Q: Do you have any hobbies?

A: I sure do! I love to collect Minnesota's State Rock! I have piles of them all over the place. I also love to garden. I can spend hours outside working in my gardens. 

Q: Have you ever traveled outside of Minnesota?

A: Yes! I am very fortunate to have family all over the world. Because of this, I have lived in Japan and Spain. My older sister lives in North Carolina and my younger sister lives in St. Louis, Missouri! I think I have a few trips that I need to go on!
