About me:

This will be my 15th year teaching middle school math and my 13th at Capitol Hill.  I love working with the staff and students at Capitol Hill and am looking forward to a great year! I graduated from Hamline University in 2008 with a degree in Philosophy and Religion and immediately began working on my teacher certification in mathematics thereafter (also at Hamline). 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family. I like to stay active, which these days means lifting weights for me (I also used to play a lot of tennis!). I also enjoy playing heavy metal guitar in my band and trying to play the Pokemon Trading Card Game semi-competitively.
