Ms. Moore
Welcome to first grade in room 1506! I am extremely excited to be joining the first grade team this year. This will be my 7th year teaching and my 7th year at Capitol Hill. Throughout the years I have taught everything from 3rd grade Makerspace and 4th grade to 8th grade AVID and 6th grade science. I have always dreamed of working with younger students and am happy to have found my place on this amazing first grade team!
I grew up in Forest Lake, just north of the Twin Cities, and moved to St. Paul to study elementary education at St. Catherine University. I eventually received my 5-8 science teaching license from Augsburg College. Currently, I live in Blaine with my husband and dog. I enjoy spending time with my three sisters, hiking, and going to the dog park!
I'm looking forward to a fabulous year of first grade! We are all in this together.
