Mr. Wittgenstein has worked at Harding High School since 2004, after a thiry-eight year career with the City of St. Paul Division of Parks and Recreation. Mr. Wittgenstein served as the Division's Superintendent the last four years with the City.
At Harding Mr. Wittgenstein runs the Tutorial Learning Center (TLC), a room where students are referred to, to get academic help. This year a Peer Tutoring program has been instituted at Harding, whereby academically strong Juniors and Seniors are used to assist other students with their work. This program is housed in the TLC.
Mr. Wittgenstein received his B.A. in History form the University of St. Thomas. He also holds a Mini M.B.A. from there. He is a 1961 graduate of Johnson High School.
His wife Sue and he have six adult children, all graduates of Harding. They also have 12 grandchildren. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, reading, coaching, and attending sports events, movies and plays.
Mr. Wittgenstein can often be found ar Harding athletic events, running the clock, selling tickets and helping in the concession area.
