¡Bienvenidos a la clase de Sra. Nordby!  Estoy emocionada para estar aquí con todos ustedes este año en Adams en quinto grado!  Será un año divertido, lleno de nuevas aventuras y mucho aprendizaje. 

Yo soy de Minnesota, donde estudié en Bethel University en St. Paul.  Despues de la universidad, vivía en Guadalajara, México donde enseñé cuarto grado por dos años en una escuela bilingüe.  Terminé mi maestría de la educacion urbana en Hamline University en 2010 y ahora estoy trabando en my segunda maestría en ESL por el Grand Canyon University.  Estoy en mi treceavo año aquí en Adams.  

Welcome to Sra. Nordby's class!  I am very excited to by here with you at Adams this year in fifth grade!  I look forward to a great year, full of new adventures and tons of learning!

I am from Minnesota, where I studied at Bethel University in St. Paul.  After graduating I moved to Guadalajara, Mexico where I lived and worked for two years in a bilingual school.  I finished my first Master's Degree in Urban Education at Hamline University in 2010 and am now working on a second Master's Degree to earn my ESL degree from Grand Canyon University.  I am now in my thirteenth year teaching at Adams.

I teach the advanced math class using Holt Mathematics, the same text used in 6th grade math in all SPPS schools.

En mi clase los estudiantes apreneden sobre la historia de los Estados Unidos.  Empezamos por conocer las Americas antiguas desde la edad de Hielo hasta la revolucion Americana.

In my class we learn about the history of the United states starting with America in the Ice Age up until the American Revolution.
