The goal for Phalen Lake Hmong Studies is for every child to contribute to and become part of our growing multicultural society.
Our dual immersion program gives students the learning advantage to explore history, folklore, art, literature and traditions of many cultures through two languages (English and Hmong).
Phalen Lake has a Hmong two-way immersion program. We value and believe that knowing two languages enables learners to be compassionate citizens, flexible thinkers, creative problem solvers, and competent workers in today’s global society.
Ntawm tsev kawm ntawv Phalen Lake no, peb muaj qhia ntawv Hmoob & Askiv. Peb ntseeg tau hais tias txoj kev uas paub ob hom lus no, yog ib yam uas yuav pab cov me tub me ntxhais kom lawv loj hlob mus ua neeg txawj xav thiab siab loj, txawj ntse, muaj tswv yim zoo, thiab txawj ua hauj lwm khov kho rau niaj hnub niam no.
Congratulating St. Paul's Hmong Dual Immersion Teachers - including our very own HDI team - who won the SPFT Mary McGough Award, SPFT's highest honor.
