Barbara Lawrence is the vocal music director at Humboldt High School. She directs the choirs and teaches piano. Barbara has been at Humboldt for 13 years. She graduated from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities with a Bachelor of Music. She also has a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Concordia University, Saint Paul. Barbara is the National Honor Society Advisor and the Middle School Athletic Director at Humboldt

 When not teaching, Barbara enjoys spending time with family. She loves playing video games and watching Asian dramas. 

Barbara lives in the Twin Cities. She has three children, two grandchildren, and two dogs. 

Barbara loves teaching at Humboldt because she believes they have the best students and it feels like a small close-knit community. She also loves that it is a 6-12 school and students remain in the same building for seven years.
