Denice Winegar:  Science Teacher

 

I have been teaching at Johnson Senior High School for over 30 years.  I was previously at Cleveland Middle School and Humboldt Senior High School for 1 year.

 

I have always loved mathematics.  After taking classes in chemistry, I realized it was really applied math so I began to take those courses.  I love to help people learn math and chemistry.  I hope they will learn to appreciate these subjects and understand the world around them.

 

I love to read and see movies.  I make jewelry from beads and make cards. 

 

My goal as an educator is to encourage and promote a positive learning environment.  I also strive to increase science knowledge that can help students in their daily lives and prepare them for their future goals.
