The Johnson Courier - Newspaper/Journalism Club
The Jounson Couier is Johnson High School's main news provider. It is associated with a class, Intro to Journalism, and the after school club. The Courier puts together a monthly newspaper and is now beginnig to air weekly advertisements.
Who: Anyone enrolled in the class already participates, but the after school club is always looking for new photographers, interviewers, designers, artists, and writers. Even if you're not sure that you're interested, you should stop by and give this group a try!
What: The group conducts interviews, takes pictures and videos, writes short stories, reviews and reports.
When: The group meets officially on Wednesdays after school, but students are welcome to stop by any day. The class is taught all year long (1st hour).
Where: Meetings (and the class) are held in room 2110.

Friday (10.28.16) - This issue covers the award that JROTC has won, morning tutoring in the lunchroom, a review the girls' volleyball season, info on Poetry-Out-Loud, and registration for 3M Insteps Program.
Friday (9.30.16) Announcements - The episode covers what College Possible is, who won the door decoration contest, what's going on in the CCRC, and an interview to learn about the tutoring program.
Friday (9.23.16) Announcements - New bathrooms are reviewed, the volleyball team is interviewed, the football team gives us an update, SADD talks about a fundraiser they're starting, Spirit week is examined, and we learn about the cheerleaders.
