Ms. Carrie
Hi! I am Ms. Carrie, the speech and language pathologist for grades 9-12 and our Fed 3 Autism and Cognitive Disabilites classrooms. I graduated from UW-Milwaukee with my graduate degree in speech pathology in 2014. I began working for Saint Paul Public Schools in 2014 and started at Humboldt High School in 2020. I truly believe that every student deserves a voice and that words matter. That is why I love to do what I do. My goal is to support students through their individualized education plan (IEP) to help them find, grow and use their unique and beautiful voices. I have experience working with a variety of communication disorders including: articulation disorders, language disorders, fluency (stuttering/cluttering) disorders, and voice disorders. I also have experience working with augmented and assistive communication(AAC) devices, and students developmental and/or cognitive disabilities. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, singing, traveling, and being with family and friends. Please reach out to me if you have any concerns with your student's speech or language skills!
