Ms. Lombardi

I am the school social worker and part of the special education team.  I have been at Murray for eight years.  I have previously worked at Journey's secondary school, West 7th PAS and Johnson High school.  I have worked for St. Paul Public school for 18 years.  I graduated from St. Could State University in 1996 and then went to St. Thomas/St. Catherines University and graduated with my masters in social work in 2003.

I have been married for 23 years and have three children.  I have two boys in college and play football at their respective schools. I also have a daughter who is a senior in High school and hopes to play college hockey.  My family enjoys being on the lake doing water sport activities, camping and traveling when ever possible. Most free time is spent with family and friends doing some sort of outdoor activities.

As a School social workers, we are an integral link between school, home, and community in helping students achieve academic success. We work directly with school administrations as well as students and families, providing leadership in forming school discipline policies, mental health intervention, crisis management, and support services. As part of an interdisciplinary team to help students succeed, social workers also facilitate community involvement in the schools while advocating for student success.
