Ms. Mueller

I have been a classroom teacher in St. Paul Public Schools since 1989, with two school years teaching overseas.

I spent one year teaching at International School of Choueifat in Lahore, Pakistan, for the school year 1997-1998.  I had a third grade classroom and a fourth grade classroom that I rotated between.  Living overseas with a family was an amazing learning experience for me, both in the classroom and out.

I took another school year off in 1999-2000 and taught at the International School in Nacka, located outside of Stockholm in Fisksatra.  I had a combination classroom of first and second graders whose parents were either foreigners working in Sweden or English speakers who had relocated to Sweden.  To see the faces of the world in front of me everyday was a mind opening experience.

My Saint Paul teaching experience began in 1987 with two years of substituting at nearly every elementary school in town and many middle schools.  I began in the classroom at ECON (East Consolidated, now Bruce Vento).  I have since taught at Farnsworth Elementary, Prosperity Elementary, Farnsworth Upper 5-8, and now back to Farnsworth Lower.

Although I have many years of experience teaching, I am learning and growing every day as I learn new ideas to meet the needs of each one of our learners.

Thank you for allowing us to work with you and your child as we continue to be lifelong learners.
