 Some interesting things about me:

I LOVE to travel. Almost every school break I will be somewhere on an adventure.

I used to work on the Minnesota Human Trafficking Task Force after I worked with victims in rescue, rehab and education in SE Asia and Mexico

The most enjoyable part of my job is making connections with students and seeing them realize that they can make a huge impact on the world.

I spend my summers traveling, hiking with my dogs, doing projects on my OLD (1889) home, and hunting the northern lights

I have three awesome rescue dogs. One beagle, one red heeler, and one husky.

I once took ten students to Thailand and Cambodia with me where we worked with displaced people and at an elephant rescue center. We also met the last two survivors of S21 Tuol Sleng Khmer Rouge prison camp in Cambodia.

If I wasn't a teacher I would be a Marine Mammologist researching ways to increase the decimated Souther Resident Orca population off the coast of Washington.
