Walking to School
If you live less than one-half mile (Grades K-5) and one mile (Grades 6-8), your child should walk from home to school. School patrols will be at the following corners: Case/White Bear, Ames/White Bear, and Maryland/White Bear, from 7:55 am to 8:10 am, and at dismissal. (Important: There will be NO patrols before or after that time). School patrols work under the supervision of the Saint Paul Police Department, assisted by School Patrol Supervisor, Robin Landowski. Questions or concerns, call Robin at 651-293-8970.
It is IMPORTANT that you fill out a free/reduced lunch application every school year. Lunch applications have been mailed to every family. If you did not receive an application in the mail, please call 651-603-4950 to have one mailed to you. You can also pick one up at school or apply online at https://mealapp.spps.org.
Regular attendance is essential for school success. We monitor attendance each day and follow the Minnesota law for compulsory school attendance. Please call Robin Landowski at 651-293-8970 to report your child’s absence or if your child is going to be tardy. You did an outstanding job with your children last school year.
