Hello!

My name is Jon Gjerde. Welcome to the 2019-202 school year.  I'm excited again to be working at Hamline Elementary.  This is my 31th year working in the St. Paul Schools and have taught 4th through 8th grades.  I did my undergraduate work at UW Stout and Augsburg College.  I also completed a Masters Degree in education at UW River Falls.  When I'm not at work I like playing sports, taking my dog for adventures, and playing music.
