Welcome to the 2020-2021 School Year!!Hello! My name is Emily Weiss, and I am a 5th grade teacher here at St. Paul Music Academy. This is my ninth year teaching 5th grade, and eigth year at SPMA. I was born and rasied in St. Paul, MN and a graduate of St. Paul Public Schools. I recived my undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in Sociology and Political Science and worked for several years in non-profits, before getting hired with SPPS Community Education in 2001. I went back to school to get my teaching license from the College of St. Scholastica. I have 3 kids of my own who keep me very busy! We like to explore different state parks, hike, swim and many other activities.
