The decisions for what next fall will look like very much depend on what community health and Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) guidelines are in place to inform decisions about building access. While we await direction from MDE, SPPS is already considering several scenarios and planning how we can best meet the academic, social and emotional needs of our students as we head into a new school year.
On Thursday, April 23, Governor Tim Walz and the Minnesota Department of Education announced that Distance Learning will continue through the end of the school year. This means that students will not return to school buildings for the rest of this academic year.
Home meal delivery and curbside pickups will continue this summer and include new menu items. Summer meal delivery is open to all Saint Paul residents, not just SPPS students. Meals are delivered Monday-Friday, with curbside pickup at select schools on Fridays.
