The SPPS Class of 2021 will celebrate with in-person commencement ceremonies at the beginning of June. Celebrations will be different due to the ongoing pandemic. Our goal is to safely celebrate and honor this special day for our graduates.
The SPPS Virtual Learning School is an option for PreK-5 students who prefer to remain in 100% distance learning for the entire 2020-21 school year.
Families should familiarize themselves with these guidelines, which are updated regularly and cover prevention strategies, health screening and monitoring, exclusion guidance, and the SPPS COVID-19 Reporting System.
At SPPS, our mission is to inspire students to think critically, pursue their dreams and change the world.
Dr. Joe Gothard is Superintendent of SPPS, which serves approximately 37,000 PreK-12 students and employs more than 5,000 full-time staff. Learn more about Dr. Gothard.
