I have taught in the St. Paul Public Schools for 21 years. I am originally from Minneapolis. I graduated from Minneapolis Southwest High School. After High School, I attended Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Anthropology and a minor in English and French. Two years after, I got my elementary teaching license from Northern Illinois University near Chicago. Later, I attended University of St. Thomas in order to get my Special Education license and Bethel to get my Work Coordinator license.
I have worked at many different schools in St. Paul; Success Academy, Arlington HS, Crossroads, Four Seasons, LEAP, Central, and now Harding. I really love teaching in St. Paul and I can’t imagine teaching anywhere else.
When I have free time, I enjoy exercising, reading, and spending time with my family.
I have three children, two cats, and one husband.
