    We met at school at 1O am to form up and sign in.

    It was a cold day, 24 and windy. A gentle snow was filling

    the sky. We brought our warm smiles and hearts. This was our 15th year of visiting the wonderful people of Cerenity Nursing' Home. We are grateful to all the residents for serving our community their entire lives. We Ms. Ann Hadlich who graduated from Humboldt in 1926 and was 99 years young. We' also saluted Mr. Raymond Mickelson who is in Humboldt's Hall of Fame.Mr. Peter Luna the grandpa of Carlos and Mario Luna was also in the audience. We gave out 48 carnations to the residents to honor them.

    "We share, We Care. We Serve, We Learn. Today's Students, Tomorrow's Leaders." No small act of kindness is wasted. , No man is an island, we are all connected to each other. Great Kids doing Great Things. . We donated 57 hours of service to the community.

    Friendship Club, 1964-2007, 43 years of teaching leadership, citizenship and service to the community. We miss no school or class time. We receive no money, credit or grades for serving others. We accept all and reject none. We are open to people of all ages, races, faiths, abilities, schools and boys and girls. Over 15,000 super volunteers reaching out to serve over 50,000 people.
