This is my 12th year at Johnson High School. I've always loved Social Studies, and I am so grateful for the daily adventures & rewards of this career!
I teach both World History and Accelerated World History for 9th graders, as well as the elective courses Sociology and Plague, Pox, and Pestilence. I love seeing my students' creative expression unfold as we explore diverse cultures, evaluate global moments, and reflect upon ourselves. My goal is to help students examine their place and potential in the world, and rise to life's challenges successfully.
Outside school I love to read, travel, and garden. I also enjoy fun DIY projects with my 6 year-old, and exploring with our crazy dog Pants!
