Physical Fitness Challenge

  • The five areas of testing are listed below.  Cadet score calculation can be seen on the attached .pdf files as well as the wall-chart hanging in the AFJROTC classroom.

    Curl-ups:  Cadet scores are based on their ages and how many curl-ups they can complete in one minute.

    Push-ups:  Cadet scores are based on their ages and the total number of push-ups they can do to a cadence of one push-up every three seconds.

    V-Sit Reach:  Cadet scores are based on their ages and how many inches forward they can reach from a sitting position.

    Pull-ups:  Cadet scores are based on their ages and the total number of pull-ups they can complete.

    Shuttle Run:  Cadet scores are based on their ages and how fast they can run and between parallel lines marked on the floor.

    One-Mile Run/Walk:  Cadet scores are based on their ages and how fast they run or walk a distance of one mile.
