    This course explores individual development; helping students to learn about themselves and their relationships with peers, family members, and co- workers. Students will learn about setting goals, developing esteem, communicating effectively, handling stress and crisis in families, keeping good friendships, dating and partner selection. Social problems that affect relationships will be examined to help students develop strategies to deal with them when needed.
