Aimee Vang, Registrar/Counseling Secretary
I am looking forward to my 16th year as a school counselor with St. Paul Public Schools and have been a school counselor for 20 years total. I will be working with the Senior class at Johnson High School. In addition, I support and provide resources to students, staff, and families at Johnson Senior in the College and Career Resource Center (CCRC).
I earned my master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and did my undergraduate work at the University of Iowa for my teaching license. Besides being a counselor, I have taught high school social studies and ELL. I enjoy gardening, volunteering, camping, appreciating diversity and multiculturalism, and traveling with my husband, daughter and son.
Feel free to contact me about any of the following: personal/social, academic and college/career. I can help with the college application process, higher education/training opportunities, internships (Genesys Works, 3M STEP, Right Track), scholarships, financial aid/FAFSA/Dream Act, college and post secondary applications, college fairs and resources, ACT, Accuplacer, college & scholarship essays, 12th grade Naviance curriculum and more.
