Experience Corps
Wanted: Older adults to make a difference in the life of a child.
Experience Corps (sponsored by Volunteers of America) places adults 50+ as literacy tutors in K-3 classes for 4-15 hours/week.

In addition to the joy and satisfaction of helping a child learn to read, tutors who make a 10 or 15 hour weekly commitment receive a small stipend. No previous experience necessary.
