About Mrs. Hedwall...

I teach Physics, SL Physics and Physical Science. I am a graduate of Highland Park Senior High. After high school, I attended and graduated from Bethel College, where I majored in secondary education, specializing in physical sciences. Following college, I taught 8th grade at Hazel Park Middle School for seven years. I taught Earth Science and Physical Science, while also coaching girls' soccer, basketball and badminton. During that time, I earned my Masters of Education at Hamline University. This is my 12th year at Highland. I am also a co-advisor for the student council.

Outside of school, I like riding my bike, running and swimming. I like checking out new places. I spend time in my kitchen, cooking and baking.
