On October 2, SPMA's Blellow Day celebrated the school spirit by encouraging students and staff to wear the blue and yellow school colors. It was great to see so many who participated. At the September Awards assembly that same day, one student from each homeroom was recognized as the Student of the Month and presented with a certificate. In addition, the students on the school bus that had the best behavior won a popcorn treat and the classes with the most days of perfect attendance were acknowledged. Surprise skaters Ms. Sasha and Mr. Sweet rolled through the assembly to promote the SPMA Family Roller Skating Party on October 8.
