    This course will provide students with entry-level skills for running a healthcare office, one of the most prevalent office types in the Metro area. Students will learn skills which can readily transfer to work in admitting, insurance and coding, medical transcription and other specialty areas. Topics include: professional organization guidelines, organization of healthcare facilities, the role of healthcare office personnel. Students will focus on preparing patient records, billing, telephone procedures, appointments, professional reports, medical meetings, and travel arrangements.

This class is a great way to get started learning how the business world works!
