The Advisory Council is made up of dedicated staff, parents, students and partners. The meeting schedule allows that at least four times a year, the major stakeholders from each 21stCCLC site have an opportunity to discuss issues relevant across all 11 after school program sites. Discussions revolve around how programming can best meet the needs of youth and families and ways to improve the program's effectiveness. It is also a time to share updates on the grant including updates from the U.S. Department of Education and the Minnesota Department of Education funding, new initiatives and requirements.
