Tier 3 Process
The following steps illustrate the general process to guide schools in developing Tier 3 interventions:
- Review and enhance Tier 1 and 2 supports based on data
- Create process for identifying students in need of Tier 3 supports
- Identify staff responsible for creating and monitoring indivuduaindividualized support plans
- Create individual behavior support plans using a function-based approach
- Create or modify interventions that address the needs of individual students and determine any other resources that may be needed
- Monitor progress of interventions and adjust
