    Tier 3 Process

    The following steps illustrate the general process to guide schools in developing Tier 3 interventions:

    • Review and enhance Tier 1 and 2 supports based on data
    • Create process for identifying students in need of Tier 3 supports
    • Identify staff responsible for creating and monitoring indivuduaindividualized support plans
    • Create individual behavior support plans using a function-based approach
    • Create or modify interventions that address the needs of individual students and determine any other resources that may be needed
    • Monitor progress of interventions and adjust
