About Mme Faltesek
Bonjour! My name is Madame Anita Faltesek and I will be your child’s Pre-K teacher this year. I am honored to be the one who will guide your child as they start their educational journey and discover the joys of learning and language in our classroom. I am excited to see them develop and grow over the course of the year.
This will be my second year teaching Pre-K and my ninth year teaching at LNFI. I previously taught Kindergarten at our school. I love teaching the little ones with their enthusiasm to learn and play! They are the best!
I am a Minnesotan girl who grew up in Little Canada, and now I live close by in North St. Paul. I have attended many local private colleges to further my education including the University of St. Thomas, Concordia University St. Paul, Bethel University, and St. Catherine's University. Recently, I have been focusing my graduate studies on educational technology and early childhood education.
During my undergrad, I lived and studied in Nantes, France. I stayed with a host family with 5 children, took courses in French, and completed a teaching internship. My internship was at a French private school where I taught English to several Kindergarten and 2nd grade classes. It was a great learning experience.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy knitting (hats and scarves are my specialty), watching movies, playing cribbage, and curling with my family. I live with my husband Tom, our 3-year-old daughter Ellie, our baby boy Jack, and our two big dogs: Henry (a Newfoundland/Lab mix) and Bella (an American Bulldog). I also have 3 older brothers: Luke, Pete, and Jake.
This year, I will be spending my mornings with my two children and then coming to LNFi in the afternoons to teach the PM section of Pre-K. Being their mom is the best and I hope that they some day come to school at LNFI!
