Fall 2019 Attitude of Gratitude starts Monday September 9!
What is the Attitude of Gratitude Challenge:
Gratitude is a simple notion, yet one we forget to practice on a regular basis. During this four-week challenge, you’ll mindfully incorporate gratitude and feelings of thankfulness into your daily life.
Why is practicing gratitude important?
Research shows that feelings of thankfulness have tremendous positive value in helping cope with daily problems and stress. Those that practice gratitude can reap substantial benefits, including:
- Stronger immune systems
- Lower blood pressure
- More positive emotions such as joy, compassion, and optimism
- Fewer negative emotions such as envy, loneliness, and regret
- Better sleep
- More energy
Participate and Complete the Attitude of Gratitude Challenge as your 2019 Wellness Program
This challenge is a great option to complete your wellness program prior to the October 18, 2019 deadline. The Attitude of Gratitude starts Monday September 9 and goes through Monday September 30. To participate in the Attitude of Gratitude Challenge, please register by Sept. 9, 2019.
You will receive an email each week with a weekly focus or challenge and a paper journal for tracking. The journal will be for your personal use, you will not be expected to share or submit your journal entries. At the end of the four-week challenge, you'll receive a Satisfaction Survey with details on how to mark your program as complete.
In addition to the Wellness Program, you and your covered spouse must also complete your Health Assessment(s) prior to the deadline, to earn the 2020 Health Care Savings.
