Math Workshop

The Everyday math curriculum was developed at the University of Chicago.  It incorporates a wide variety of activity-based math lessons to improve each child's development of mathematical intuition and understanding of the content strands.  The program purpose is to integrate math into the child's everyday life. It is a spiraling program building and expanding on concepts from kindergarten through twelfth grade.  Topics included in our year longstudy include:
