SPPS Opening Week a Success From a flash mob dance at Creative Arts Secondary School to a 150-year anniversary celebration at Central Senior High School, the first week of school offered excitement for SPPS students and staff alike. Galtier Elementary, Barack & Michelle Obama Elementary along with many other schools and departments received visits from district leaders, Board of Education members as well as Superintendent Dr. John Thein.
