Classroom Villages/Community Engagement
The purpose of Classroom Villages (CV) is to strengthen the community of our school by establishing a fun way for students, families, and teachers to get to know each other and create meaningful memories together while supporting one another and our school.
Each class in our school has the potential to become a CV. Volunteer CV Coordinators from each class organize and plan their Classroom Village meetings throughout the year. The meetings are an opportunity for the Village to share news and information, complete a project for the benefit of the class/school, and engage in fun activities together.
Participation in Classroom Village meetings helps families build friendships that make it more enjoyable to take part in school-wide social events, educational functions, and volunteer opportunities. Classroom Villages help to create a happier, healthier environment here at Groveland.

Volunteers called Classroom Village Coordinators (CVCs) are needed in each classroom to bring these villages to life.
