Brief Bio - Deputy Chief Davis is a Cleveland native and moved to the Twin Cities in 2012. In my time within the Twin Cities I worked for a number of Fortune company’s in various roles before joining SPPS in 2014. I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to work for great companies such as Key Bank, Progressive Insurance, Supervalu, Experis and now SPPS. I have a passion for technology and love all the possibilities it can deliver. Idrissa Davis joined Saint Paul Public Schools in 2014.

Brief Bio

Born and raised in small town Minnesota, I relocated with my wife and three children to Woodbury in 2012. My previous experience has included for-profit and non-profit enterprises within multiple industries including software development, entertainment, travel, and early education. I love technology for the simple fact that it can make individuals more efficient in every aspect of their life. It has always been my role to take away the complications of tech and simplify the process, I hope to deliver these elements to SPPS.

Brief bio - Cynthia Carbonneau is the Application Services Manager with extensive experience delivering successful solutions in application development, enterprise application support/infrastructure, web development, service management, team building, communications, user support, change management, project management, and performance management for private and public organizations. Previously, Cynthia worked as project manager, IT test lead, IT business analysis, and process consultant.

Oversight includes:

  • The role of Application Services is to analyze, design, create, implement, and support academic technology systems and processes for the school district.

One thing I love about SPPS - I believe the technical solutions provided by Technology Services makes a difference for the staff and students of SPPS.

Brief Bio - I have worked with SPPS since 1995 in various technology roles. I worked as a computer technician for School Readiness (preschool program) for nine years. Since 2004 I have worked for Technology Services as a Field Technician, Lead Field Technician and currently as a Technology Manager. As a Technology Services Manager I have managed the Service Desk and currently manage one of the two Field Service Teams.

Brief Bio - I live in St Paul and my children attend SPPS schools. I have worked in technology for over 20 years, primarily in customer service, with 10 years in phone support. In addition I am a licensed teacher having completed my student teaching at Arlington High School as well as teaching for 2 years at Evening High School. I am familiar with the challenges of teaching with technology in my classroom.

Brief Bio - Vicky Shine manages the continued development and improvement of the district’s Technology Service Desk. Vicky's career in Information Technology spans 20+ years which includes the support and management of a wide range of technologies to include network and server management, application management, project management, and service desk.  Vicky is a native of Toledo, Ohio and moved to the Twin Cities in 2015.

Oversight includes:

  • Management of three Service Desk Technicians who serve as the first point of contact in support of technical services over the phone and in person.  Support includes level 1 computer, email, cell phone, and iPad support to the district’s staff and faculty

Brief Bio - Jeff Darsow is the Print/Copy/Mail Center Supervisor with over 40 years of printing experience. He has previously worked for Unisys Corporation and most recently managing South Washington School District Print Center. His work experience includes Press Operator, Project Manager, Supervisor, and Customer Service Specialist. He was instrumental in integrating mail/copy services, initiating web based print submissions, and managing satellite copier fleet. Jeff is a hands on people person who is dedicated to customer service and problem solving.

Brief Bio - I've been with SPPS since 2012, I was a T.A for SPED @ Hazel Park, and Management Assistant for Personalized Learning. I sometimes freelance as a K-12 Tutor; and I enjoy participating in different volunteer activities. I am currently with a non-profit org where I teach and tutor ESL, and computer classes. I am a Greenbay Packers fan, but waiting for a Vikings superbowl win.
