Homework Help

  • St. Paul Public Schools supports individual school programs and teachers in developing homework practices that best meet the needs of the students they serve. 

    Families looking for homework support should ALWAYS consult their student's teacher(s) for the most appropriate advice. Teachers throughout the district are available to meet with students at various times which may include before, during or after school.       The Saint Paul Public Library provides student with serveral homework support services: 

    • Homework Resources
      Provide websites, databases, and other homework resources for all ages.
    • Homework Rescue
      Provides a variety of free tutoring services through a service called HelpNow, powered by Brainfuse. Services are provided in both English and Spanish, including homework, learning academic skills, and assistance in writing term papers.
    • Homework Centers
      Students of all ages can drop in and work on their homework independently or with the help of volunteer tutors at the library.
