Hi! Sara Johnson has been teaching in Saint Paul Public schools since 1997. She earned an undergraduate degree from Minnesota State University - Mankato in Spanish and Social Welfare with a license to teach English as a Second Language. She also earned her Master’s of Arts degree in Elementary Education from The University of Saint Thomas. She has been teaching Kindergarten at Frost Lake for six years. She has also taught K-3 grade ELL and fourth grade. In addition, Sara has been a district PAR coach mentoring and coaching teachers new to Saint Paul.
When not teaching, Sara likes to spend time at the lake, read a good book and take in a MN sporting event. She also has taken up sewing recently. Sara also likes to spend time with her family and friends.
Sara lives with her husband and two children in New Brighton. She has two daughters, Madeline who is going into 6th grade and Abbie Jo who is going to be a 4th grader. She also has a Golden Retriever named Lily.
Sara loves working at Frost lake and is excited to be your child’s teacher this year.
This is Sydney Hudson’s first year at Frost Lake Elementary School. She graduated December 2019 with an undergrad degree from the University of St. Thomas and is now working towards obtaining her masters degree in Elementary Education.
When not at school, Sydney enjoys drinking coffee, eating, and getting together with friends and family. She loves working out at Orangetheory as well as finding new places to hike and golf.
Sydney grew up through the Bloomington Public Schools and currently lives in the Twin Cities. Her family consists of her mom ~ Tracy, dad ~ Michael, and younger sister ~ Jordyn. She has two puppies at home, Ava (a Yorkie-poo) and Frank (Shih-poo).
Sydney is excited to be joining the Frost Lake team co-teaching in Kindergarten and is looking forward to a great year!
